On Saturday, our friends from Kate's Cuddles came over for a day of dog walking, films and yummy food. You might have seen these pics on our Instagram account, but I thought I'd share them here too:

Del and Kate are starting to get on with each other quite well. Del is quite smitten with her. They were great on our walk. Del even slowed down a bit to let Kate keep up.
On Sunday we went to visit my partner's family for a Birthday. We took Del to play with Archie and Ellie, the two crazy weimerarners. Del is smitten with Ellie too. He's just an all round ladies man.
Yesterday was spent lazing in the garden. It was very warm and Del was struggling with the heat a bit. I'm sure he'll get used to it, but it's been such a cold, long winter I think it was a bit of a shock to the system.

We waited until about half eight last night to take Del for a walk so it was cooler for him, and again, he found a stick that is the new love of his life...
Sounds like Del had a lot of fun! Our dogs have trouble with heat too at the beginning of warm weather.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard for them to adjust, isn't it? I just keep a stash of ice cubes in the freezer- he loves chewing on them when he's too hot :)
