Five of the Best- October Edition

Apologies for the delay in October's Five of the Best. I was away visiting London last week so didn't have the chance, which is also why we've been rather quiet over here.  So, here is the list of my favourite blog posts of October!


The Balloon Diaries

I mentioned that my friend Louise had started a blog for her gorgeous pup Harvey a few weeks back, and I wanted to share this gem of a post called "Flashback Friday: Harvey's First Christmas". I think it's my favourite of all his posts because he looks so cute in his little Christmas outfit! Definitely one to follow as there are not only some great posts up already but there is some awesome stuff lined up for November too!


My Two Pitties

I simply love My Two Pitties. I don't have a favourite post because I found it hard to choose just one. The photography on this blog is amazing. These two pitties are so lucky. They seem to live in such a beautiful part of the world. Check out this blog if you haven't already.


Lily Loves Lola

This one is a little different to what I usually list on Five of the Best. This blog is primarily a lifestyle/fashion blog, but the blog name "Lily Loves Lola" is actually named after Victoria's two pugs, Lily and Lola! Occasionally we get to see ultra cute pics of the pugs in her posts, including this Happy Halloween post! I really love reading Victoria's posts, even more so when they include pics of Lily and Lola :)

Greyhounds CAN Sit

I love Greyhounds CAN sit and have been following it for a while. Just thought I'd share their blog post, entitled A Love Story. It's full of some lovely pics of greyhounds and gives some background into how their relationships work. Well worth checking out.

And finally...

Two French Bulldogs

The loss of Benny has been prominent in the doggie blog world. Benny was a fighter and lost his battle recently. The love and support that the online community showed towards Benny was phenominal. Here is a post about their family moving forward, entitled, A New Chapter. Me and Del are sending our love to Benny's momma and Lily.

Five of the Best- September Edition

September has been on the quiet front for me, as I've been away to the Big Apple and have celebrated a Birthday. I promise to stop by more of your blogs in October!

I've still enjoyed the blogs I have been able to visit though, so in no particular order here are my Five of the Best!

A Tail of Two Cardis

I love this blog, mainly because of their header image- how cool is that? Look at them enjoying the beach! I love most of this blog's pics which makes me return week after week. I really enjoyed this post about Wilson jumping on that super tall bed! Definitely one to follow :)


The Adventures of The Tank

I have to say, Frank from The Adventures of The Tank makes me smile every time. I LOVE the pumpkin pics at the top too! But my favourite post this month has been the one with the hedgehog. I love hedgehogs- they're so cute! And love the pictures of Frank being all inquisitive.


My Imperfect Dog

My Imperfect Dog has been a favourite of mine since I started reading dog blogs. I really love the writing style and I always like to see a cute pic of Silas (example above!) My favourite post in September was the recent Yuppie one, all about how Silas is a bit of a food snob! He's one pup after my own heart...


Rumpy Dog

First of all, how cute is Rumpy? Second of all, I needed to share this post from this week called Lashing Out At Others Doesn't Lessen Your Own Pain.  You just need to have a read to understand. It really resonated with me and is beautifully written.


Pawsitively Pets

I LOVE this site. It's such a good read. I had to share this post about Halloween costumes for little pets, like guinea pigs. CUTE PICTURE ALERT! One of the cutest things I've seen in a long time!

Five of the Best- August Edition

It's that time again already! This is my second installment of 'Five of the Best' and I have to say it was hard to choose just five :)

Here is goes (in no particular order):

One of my favourite Rotties- Lulu. I really love reading about where she travels. This month she's been to Niagara Falls! I love seeing her have fun and travelling the country. You should definitely check her out if you haven't already.

Bren from Pibbles & Me is awesome. I haven't got a favourite post as such this month, but I really love Pibbles & Me and everyone who isn't a member should become one- pronto!

2 Brown Dawgs Blog was one of the first dog blogs I came across and is still a firm favourite. I love looking at pics of Freighter, Thunder and Storm as they're such active and great dogs. Read all about them training and being generally awesome.

I can't choose a post from Something Wagging This Way Comes- they're all too good. This blog really just speaks for itself and will always be one of my favourites.

If you love big fury fluffballs then head over to the Misadventures of Misaki. Misaki is a beautiful Malamute who is simply adorable. I really liked her post on getting her flea treatment- Del hates having his done too, so this one really made me laugh!

Five of the Best

Blogging isn't much fun when you do it by yourself, which is why I'll be doing a Five of the Best feature each month. I want to share the blogs that I've been reading and enjoying in July. It was really hard to pick just five, but I'll feature the ones I've missed out in the August edition:)

Dakota's Den is a fun blog all about a really loveable Sheltie. My favourite post this month was Friday Funny: Serenading my Sheltie. I think this post is really sweet and Dakota looks mesmerised!

Kate's Cuddles is my best friend's blog about Kate, the most gorgeous little doggy ever. My favourite post has to be one where Del is featured- check him out doing some training!

Clowie's Corner is another I've only recently discovered. Clowie is a stunning Pyrenean Mountain dog and I love looking at pics of her. I really enjoyed the post on 'My Favourite Indoor Games'.

My Brown Newfies is one of my favourite EVER blogs. Sherman and Leroy are just ADORABLE and Jen's writing style has me in stitches. I really loved her post called '5 Sounds That Make My Dog Come Running' as it reminded me so much of Del- and the picture is awesome.

Parker Chronicles is a blog I only came across last week. It's an adorable blog and LOOK HOW CUTE HE IS! Would definitely give Parker and his mum a follow if you don't already. Also, Parker's mum is lovely :)
